Summary of Solo Leveling Manga Chapter 76
Sung Il-hwan explains his disappearance to Jin-woo — he was taken through a dimensional gate by the Rulers and has been functioning as their vessel, fighting on their behalf across dimensions while his family believed him dead. He carries enormous guilt for abandoning his family, even if it was not fully voluntary. Jin-woo listens without anger but without easy forgiveness either. The two have a conversation about what is coming and what each of them needs to do. Il-hwan’s priority is protecting his son. Jin-woo’s priority is ending the war.
