Su-ho enters his first real combat against an Itarim advance force — a group of dimensional entities unlike anything in the standard monster taxonomy. They fight with strategic intelligence and appear to be scouting rather than attacking, mapping Earth’s defences. Su-ho disrupts the scouting operation and defeats the advance force, but recognises this was not a real threat — it was a probe. The Itarim are assessing what they are dealing with before committing their actual forces. Su-ho reports this to the Hunter’s Association and nobody is happy to hear it.
